What is your return policy?
Because we want you to be 100% satisfied, you can return your purchase(s) made at chocolategelt.com within 30 days of your order receipt. Please note we cannot process returns for perishable items. However, we can send you a replacement if your order was damaged. We highly recommend you use certified mail, UPS, FedEx, or some other form of traceable shipment. We cannot assume responsibility for misdirected or lost shipments. If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact one of our Customer Service representatives.

Where should I ship my return?
Please ship your return to the address below. We highly recommend you ship the package back insured, or at least via a service that tracks packages, such as with UPS, FedEx or USPS (ask for services that have tracking options).

What information should I include with my return?
Please include a note or letter containing the following information:
1. Order Number, Name, address, and email address
2. Daytime phone number, in case we have questions
3. List the item(s) and why you are returning the item(s) (for example: wrong item, didn't like color, damaged in transit, etc.)

I sent my order back to you. How long until I get my money back? Please allow a minimum of 14 days for us to receive and process your return. You can expect a refund within 30 days of when we receive your return. We will notify you via e-mail once we have received and processed the returned item(s). We will credit or refund the value of the merchandise total and any taxes you were charged. Refunds will be given in the same form of payment. Adjustments to credit cards will be made within two billing cycles. NOTE: We are sorry, but we don't credit shipping costs for returned orders.

Refusal of Delivery
If a package is refused for delivery, the customer will be responsible for actual shipping charges incurred by Chocolategelt.com. Once we receive the package back in one of our warehouses, we will issue a credit to the original credit card for the purchase price less the actual shipping cost of shipping the package to you. This shipping charge will apply even if you were not originally charged shipping under a free shipping promotion. The purpose of this is to defray unnecessary shipping costs and to allow us to offer the lowest prices possible.

Incorrect Shipping Address Provided
Packages that are returned or shipped with an incorrect address provided by the customer will be subject to additional shipping charges. Orders that are later cancelled due to an incorrect address provided by the customer are also subject to actual shipping charges. Once we receive the package back in our warehouse, we will issue a credit to the original credit card for the purchase price less the actual shipping cost. This shipping charge will apply even if you were not originally charged shipping under a free shipping promotion. Requests for packages to be shipped again will be subject to actual shipping charges. The purpose of this is to defray unnecessary shipping costs and to allow us to offer the lowest prices possible.
Please Note: The cost of perishable items returned due to incorrect shipping address provided at the time the order was placed will not be refunded.
